Our Story
My name is Tracy Mitchell. I was born and raised in Memphis TN. I am the owner of Marshia's Best Catering. I am a part of a great legacy of women with great cooking skills. My Great Grandmother owned and operated Bessie's Chicken Shack located in the Memphis area during 1950's. My Grandmother was an extraordinary baker. My Mother inspired me to develop my own style and flavor of cooking. My Mother's amazing cooking style is the foundation for my cuisine. My goal is to provide delicious food that simply makes you smile.
Marshia's Best Catering is dedicated to my mother, Marshia Caldwell Gilmore. For me, the name Marshia's Best Catering describes her expectation of excellence.
